With GiveNOLA Day in the books, I know most of our local New Orleans friends are already feeling donor fatigue… but Daniela and I implore you to consider this one additional cause that’s near to our hearts: ROFEH International.
As many of you know, ROFEH helped us personally when Jacob was undergoing his surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital in a litany of ways and, what most don’t know, continued assistance with housing over the extended trips we’ve had back to Boston since.
This incredible organization helps Jewish families from all over the world when traveling to Boston for the region’s groundbreaking medical care, providing kosher meals, Shabbat friendly housing, and much more--all free of charge.
The folks at ROFEH have become like our extended family and we’re asking everyone to make meaningful donation, large or small, to help sustain their important work. While we pray that you and yours may never come to directly experience ROFEH's kindness, the impact they had during our darkest moments was truly a profound blessing.
In just a few weeks, ROFEH will hold its sixth walk, a significant annual fundraiser. The best part is that you don't need to actually be present at the walk to participate and support ROFEH: Just click on the Donate Now button and support “Team Jacob!”
